Gracious people are kind and tactful. A gracious society has a spirit of 'other'-centeredness.

When we are gracious to each other, we can promote better relationships and a more peaceful environment, whether it be at home, within organisations, governments or as a country.

Gracious people consider the feelings of others and avoid being hurtful or making someone uncomfortable.  They are usually humble which means they don’t brag, they don’t boast what they have or what they’ve accomplished.
