Fernanda Britz, one of our connections who live in Blumenau, Brazil is explaining her current situation during the COVID 19. As we can see from the picture above, a few people are still going outside to hang out because of the boredom.
1. How is the situation right now in your city?
We have 20 confirmed cases in our city. Big factories, stores, banks, and non-essential businesses are closed. People are getting bored because we aren’t working as much as we used to.
2. How do you feel your government’s response has been and what has this meant to you and your family?
Our president hasn’t taken the issue with the alarm it deserves but I’m happy that our state’s governor is going on with the quarantine until the state receives the supplies needed for the hospitals.
3. How are you feeling personally about the future?
I feel concerned about the future, not only in my country but all over the world. I feel the situation right now is going to change the way we live for good.
