The Problem

One of the most common problems experienced by all dentists especially by pedodontists is management of an uncooperative child in a dental clinic. Various factors play a role in this.

The Action

Understanding the reason for the uncooperative behavior in the child will help the dentist in removing or easing the causative factor there by making the clinical experience a less traumatic one for both patient and dentist. Eg  Certain instruments and procedures in a clinic can ne explained to the child as various toys .

The Outcome

By helping the child overcome his/her fears in a dental clinic the visit to the dentist can be made a less traumatic one for both patient and the dentist. Futher future visits to the dentist can be made an easy one for everyone.
