Khushbu B Laxman, one of our connections who live in Whangarei, New Zealand is explaining her current situation during the COVID 19. As we can see from the picture above, it’s the place where she stays.
How is the situation right now for you in your city?
“On the 14th May, we are moving to a level 2 lockdown. After almost two months of complete lockdown, life is slowly getting on track. Restaurants and retail will finally open”.
How do you feel your Government’s response has been, and what has this meant for you and your family?
“I believe Jacinda Arden is a wonder woman. The government acted very quickly in implementing measures to contain the virus. When they did that, they made sure that no individual gets affected financially. It meant that my family was not only safe physically in the midst of the lockdown chaos, they were also financially secure”.
How are you feeling personally about the future?
“I can’t believe all this is getting over soon. Since we are at the tail end of the lockdown, I see light at the end of the tunnel. All of this is over like a bad dream”.
